The latest technological developments in Bunting's range of magnetisers and magnetising equipment have enhanced ergonomics, and easy assembly and maintenance. These innovations, driven by Bunting's dedicated in-house assembly technicians and the engineering design team, underscore a drive to delivering user-friendly and efficient solutions.

The recent design enhancements include the introduction of an angled Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screen on industrial, bench-top and laboratory magnetisers. This design improvement allows operators to easily view the unit from above, eliminating the need for costly articulated arms on which to mount the HMI. This ergonomic enhancement improves visibility and also streamlines the overall user experience. This small enhancement has been enthusiastically embraced by users operating both purchased machines and magnetisers on loan agreements.

In addition, simple connectors have replaced traditional hardwired plugs. This change significantly simplifies the process of removing panels, making essential maintenance tasks quicker and safer. The use of connectors reduces the risk of damaged wiring or incorrect rewiring, ensuring the reliability of the magnetiser, and simplifying servicing.
Bunting's range of magnetisers include modular designs and bespoke solutions. Recent projects include:
- The model BMCL5030 magnetiser for charging vacuum cleaner magnets;
- The model BMC10050 magnetiser which is charging 100,000 loudspeaker magnets annually;
- A bespoke industrial magnetiser for magnetising automotive traction motor magnet rotors;
As the only European company to specialise in both magnetising equipment and magnet technology, Bunting continues to innovate and develop magnetiser technology. The latest enhancements, focusing on ergonomics and ease of maintenance, set new standards for quality and user satisfaction.
"Whilst watching the factory acceptance tests, I witnessed operators having to bend down or have difficulty when trying to read the screen. I could see that the ergonomics needed improving," explained Bunting's onsite engineering team leader, Dave Pollard. "Continual improvement and refinement are some of the driving themes here at Bunting and I'm really proud of how simple enhancements make the units we build more user friendly."
